THREE OVERPASSES RUNWAY CONCRETING STARTED IN THE SECTION OF THE NORTH-EASTERN CHORD

Concreting of the runway of three overpasses at the intersection of the North-Eastern Chord with Prospekt Mira Street has been started. Concreting works are conducted in these three sections: the direct route overpass, the left-turn overpass from Yaroslavskoye shosse to the North-Eastern Chord (Otkrytoye shosse direction), the left-turn overpass from North-Eastern Chord to Yaroslavskoye shosse (suburban direction). The structure was developed by “Mosproekt-3”, the company which forms a part of the so named Group of companies.

According to Andrey Bochkarev, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction, the new interchange at the intersection of the North-Eastern Chord with Prospekt Mira Street will improve transport service for more than 350 thousand citizens from five different districts of Moscow.

“Transport flows better distribution will reduce the load on the city largest highways: Yaroslavskoye shosse, Prospekt Mira, Moscow Circle Automobile Road (MKAD) north-eastern section and Yeniseiskaya Ulitsa. This project will significantly improve transport service for the neighbor districts: Sviblovo, Yaroslavsky, Rostokino, Metrogorodok and Bogorodskoye Districts”, – said Andrey Bochkarev.
