Moscow Metro Expansion Program has no world analogues, it apparently impresses by its scale that involves the maximum extent possible resources. For example, on Lyublinsko–Dmitrovskaya line engineers applied special methods of the construction of deep stations in the aqueous soil. Belomorskaya station had to be “inset” above the operating underground line. On the section of Sokolnicheskaya line, which is located in New Moscow area, the Group of companies Mosproekt-3 for the first time in the history of Moscow Metro managed to implement the concept of the ground section with the coverage to protect the line from atmospheric precipitation.

In particular, they actively apply building information modelling (BIM). For example, the section of the Troitskaya line became the first Russian metro project that was entirely designed and engineered by means of BIM.
