THE GROUP OF COMPANIES MOSPROEKT-3 HELD TRAINING SEMINARS WITH RUSSIAN EXPERTS ON KARST PHENOMENA

The team of the Group of сompanies Mosproekt-3 has taken part in the training seminars with the participation of the leading Russian experts on karst phenomena. A series of videoconferences was held as a part of the corporate educational programme.

 The participants of the course studied karst processes in the European part of Russia in detail.

“The Group of companies “Mosproekt-3” is closely engaged in the construction of the freeway “Moscow – Kazan”, which is included in the international transport corridor “Western Europe – Western China”. Our engineers are entrusted with one of the most challenging section in the territory of Nizhny Novgorod region, where hazardous karst-suffosion phenomena are common. The wide range of issues that we discussed at the previous lectures will enable our specialists to update the karst deformations knowledge base and provide the constructors with the design and engineering documentation of high quality,” – Anna Merkulova, CEO of the Group of сompanies Mosproekt-3.

The freeway “Moscow – Kazan” is going to become the largest infrastructure project of the coming years. The route of over 700 km will become the alternate route of the existing Freeway M7 “Volga”. According to Marat Khusnullin, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, the project would become a development driver for several regions in the European part of Russia:

“A new infrastructure is bound to emerge along the freeway, that will lead to the increase in business activity and tax revenues from business enterprises to the national budget. Over 30k workplaces will be created directly in construction and over 130k – in related industries”.
