GC Mosproekt-3 to design projects of key sections of M-12 highway to Ekaterinburg
Mosproekt-3, the company which forms a part of the so named Group of companies, has been chosen as the contracting entity to develop the project documentation of 2 sections of the M-12 highway extension running from Kazan to Ekaterinburg. The new road is going to be integrated with the international route “Western Europe – Western China”.
The route from Dyurtyuli city to Achit village will run for 275 km, meanwhile the engineers of the Mosproekt-3 Group of companies will design the longest sections, 140 km in the Republic of Bashkortostan and 92 km in Perm krai with over 60 engineering structures that are expected to be constructed, including over 20 bridges.
As a reminder, previously the experts of the Group of companies were engaged in the development of the primary design of the area along the entire route between Dyurtyuli and Achit. The results of the survey activities identified the sections with complex geological conditions.
Anna Merkulova, CEO of The Group of companies Mosproekt-3, underlined that the engineers of the Group of Companies had all the required competencies to develop technological solutions that would ensure the optimal terms of the project implementation as well as the safety of the operation of the facility in the future.

The Group of companies effectively performs the design and contracting works at one of the sections of the M-12 highway in Nizhegorodskaya oblast, and now our target is to implement the sections in the Republic of Bashkortostan and Perm krai quickly and efficiently,” – explained Anna Merkulova.
The main route of M-12 highway section from Moscow to Kazan is sceduled to be launched in 2023. The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has assigned to extend the highway to Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk and Tyumen.
