TUNNEL DRIVING OF THE SIXTH TUNNEL OF TROITSKAYA METRO LINE HAS BEEN COMPLETED

The tunnel boring machine have completed the right running tunnel between two stations of Troitskaya Metro Line: “Universitet Druzhby Narodov” and “Ulitsa Novatorov” stations.

The experts of Mospromproekt, the company that forms a part of The Group of companies Mosproekt-3, have designed a section of a new radial line from “Ulitsa Novatorov” Station to “Kommunarka” Station by means of BIM-technologies.

Specialists of the Mospromproekt JSC, which is part of The Group of Companies Mosproekt-3, have designed a section of a new radial line from Ulitsa Novatorov Station to Communarca Station using BIM-technologies.

“Our engineers have developed the design and engineering solutions for the new line tunnels, from the construction technologies to the method of lining. Given the predominance of water-saturated groundwater, we decided to use high-precision watertight blocks to avoid further infiltration of groundwater into the structure,” said Anna Merkulova, CEO of The Group of companies Mosproekt-3.

Troitskaya Metro Line is the first Russian metro project that is developed by means of the information modelling technologies.

“For example, we have developed a three-dimensional model of the architectural and structural part, engineering systems, all main highway electrical networks during the designing and engineering of “Slavyansky Mir” Station,” added Dmitry Tsyupa, Technical Director of Mospromproekt.
