TOP MANAGERS OF GC MOSPROEKT-3 RECEIVED STATE AWARDS
Anna Merkulova, CEO of The Group of companies Mosproekt-3, and Evgeniy Chumakov, Adviser to the CEO on Design and Engineering of Metro Objects Mospromproekt, have been awarded the Medals of the Order for Services to the Fatherland, second-class. The awards were presented by Vitaly Saveliev, the Minister of Transport of Russia.
Anna Merkulova became the head of The Group of companies Mosproekt-3, successfully consolidating the oldest engineering institutes – “Mosproekt-3”, Mospromproekt and “Moscow Scientific-Research and Design Institute of Typology and Experimental Design” (MNIITEP), into an integrated engineering center. In the shortest possible time Anna Merkulova managed to raise the competence of the team to participate in the Moscow Government main transport projects and was able to lead the Company out of the years of financial losses. In different years, she was in charge of the project teams who worked on the key objects of Moscow agglomeration: the section of Sokolnicheskaya Metro Line on the territory of New Moscow, North-Eastern and South-Eastern Chords, Transport-Interchange Hub on Moscow Central Circle (MCC), as well as public-private projects of the Northern Bypass Road of Odintsovo, Moscow – Saint-Petersburg Road, Northern Alternate Route of Kutuzovsky Prospekt, etc.
A new stage for The Group of companies Mosproekt-3 became the participation in the project of “Western Europe – Western China” International Transit Corridor: GC Mosproekt-3 team designs and engineers one of the most difficult sections of the future freeway.
Yevgeny Chumakov, who has devoted his life to the realization of transport projects, since entering the Company, has strengthened the direction of the underground space development. In different years he and the team of engineers participated in the project of construction of the unique Gagarinsky and Lefortovsky Tunnels on the Third Circle Road; so far, Yevgeny has realized over 50 projects of the Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod metro stations. Mr. Chumakov has a huge experience of construction abroad, inter alia, he took part in the construction of the tunnel under the Bosphorus Strait.
