Top-management of GC Mosproekt-3 Joined RTA Board of Directors
Representatives of the top management of the GC Mosproekt-3 joined the new board of directors of the Russian Tunnelling Association. The decision was made during the report and election conference of RTA.
Anna Merkulova, CEO of the Group of companies, became a member of the presidium of the board of directors. Top-managers of Mospromproekt, the company that forms a part of the GC Mosproekt-3, were also elected into the governing body of the organization, they are Evgeny Chumakov, CEO advisor for Designing of metro facilities, and Dmitry Tsyupa, Technical director.
“The demand for the development of the off-street urban rail transit systems is now emerging in Russian metropolises, that is why the new RTA board should pay attention to the regional initiatives aimed at the efficient eco-transport and underground space development,” – said Anna Merkulova, CEO of the Mosproekt-3 Group of companies.
Anna Merkulova added that the GC experts are closely engaged in the development of the technical and economic grounds for the metrotram project in Chelyabinsk, and in Nizhny Novgorod the Group of companies turned out to be the first contractor implementing a metro project within the “infrastructure menu” programme.
Today the GC Mosproekt-3 team consists of 1500 upmarket engineers with unique competencies in the sphere of the underground space development and infrastructure projects implementation. Over the last few years, the experts of the Group of companies managed to implement over 80 km of tunnels and 31 metro stations.
Anna Merkulova, CEO of the Mosproekt-3 Group of companies, is a key participant of the large-scale Moscow transit system development programme that involves the mega-project on metro network expansion, the creation of the chord highway system and transport structure of New Moscow. The head of the Group of Companies also took part in the federal projects on the construction of M-11 Neva highway and CCAR (Central Circle Automobile Road).
Evgeny Chumakov, CEO advisor for Designing of metro facilities of the company Mospromproekt, in different periods was closely engaged in the implementation of the large-scale infrastructure projects in Russia and abroad. He was involved in the construction of Gagarinsky and Lefortovsky tunnels in the Third Road Ring in Moscow, hydrotechnical tunnel under the Bosporus strait in Istanbul. In the course of his career Evgeny Chumakov has implemented over 50 projects of metro stations in Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod.
Dmitry Tsyupa, Technical director of the Mospromproekt company, in different periods was involved in the metro line projects in Saint-Petersburg and Krasnoyarsk, worked on the extension of the integrated automobile and railroad route in the Sochi mountain cluster as a part of the infrastructure preparation programme for XXII Winter Olympics. In the Group of companies Dmitry Tsypa supervises the activities related to the implementation of BIM-technologies.
