UNDERGROUND SPACE DEVELOPMENT AND METRO
Unique expertise, professional competencies, advanced technology and cutting-edge scientific knowledge enable the Group of companies Mosproekt-3 to implement effectively underground space development projects of any complexity, providing a full range of services:
Initial cost appraisal for design and construction and Financial Modeling, based on a Project Design and Engineering Documentation
Integrated Design and Engineering of Metro Lines, including metro stations and sections between stations
Design of Metro Routes
Construction Management Plan
Station Space Layout Planning
Design and Construction Solutions
Design and Engineering of track structure
Design of Engineering Systems
Architectural Concept of Stations, Halls and Underpasses
Moscow Metro Expansion Program has no world analogues, it apparently impresses by its scale that involves the maximum extent possible resources. The Group of companies Mosproekt-3 engineers joined the unprecedented program, when it had only been launched, and in the shortest period of time won a status of the leader in the sphere of underground space development.
Moscow authorities entrusted the experts of the Group of companies, who have enormous expertise and advanced knowledge in the construction sphere, as well as the implementation of the most technically sophisticated and unique facilities. All those projects required nonstandard and innovative solutions. For example, on Lyublinsko–Dmitrovskaya line engineers applied special methods of the construction of deep stations in the aqueous soil. Belomorskaya station had to be “inset” above the operating underground line. On the section of Sokolnicheskaya line, which is located in New Moscow area, the Group of companies Mosproekt-3 for the first time in the history of Moscow Metro managed to implement the concept of the ground section with the coverage to protect the line from atmospheric precipitation.
The team of the Group of companies not only applies advanced technologies, but also constantly improves technological processes, connected with the design, engineering and construction of metro lines. In particular, they actively apply building information modelling (BIM). For example, the section of the Troitskaya line became the first Russian metro project that was entirely designed and engineered by means of BIM.
Today the Group of companies Mosproekt-3 team is engaged in the implementation of the ambitious project – The Big Circle line, which is going to become the most extended circle line in the world and has already set the Guinness Record for the simultaneous operation of tunnel boring machines.
