MOSPROEKT-3 JUSTIFIED BIM-LEADER STATUS

Mosproekt-3 JSC, a member of the same named holding company, awarded a title of BIM-leader for successful use of information modelling technology during the implementation of large-scale infrastructure construction projects. The Group of Companies Mosproekt-3 engineers gained professional recognition from Autodesk experts for a second time.

In line with world trends towards digital construction, The Group of Companies Mosproekt-3 specialists not only apply BIM-technology on a daily basis, but also take an active part in normative basis development for BIM-construction. The section of the Troitskaya Line designed by The Group of Companies Mosproekt-3 became the first metro project in Russia, which was fully designed using BIM. Before that, The Group engineers also successfully applied BIM-technology to design the first inner city toll road – the North Relief Road for Kutuzovsky Avenue.

“Today we observe the growing interest towards information modelling technology in the construction industry. BIM-technology allow to provide qualitative design documentation and to significantly optimize cost and construction period, it also ensures effective work coordination among all the participants of the design and construction process”, – highlighted Anna Merkulova, The Group of Companies Mosproekt-3 CEO.

Anna Merkulova added that now The Group of Companies Mosproekt-3 specialists also apply BIM-technology while working on the difficult section of Western Europe – Western China International Transit Corridor.

Autodesk is the world biggest software developer for industrial and civil construction with more than 9 million users. In 2019, Autodesk awarded The Group of Companies Mosproekt-3 a title of BIM-leader in the infrastructure construction field.
