Businovskaya transport interchange
Businovskaya transport interchange is the first five-level transport interchange in Russia. This large-scale infrastructure project integrates the traffic flow straight from three major city highways: Moscow Automobile Circle Road, North-Eastern Chord and Moscow-St. Petersburg Highway.
The Group of companies Mosproekt-3 provided the general design and engineering of the most complex object in the cramped conditions of urban development with an abundance of utilities and railway infrastructure: the outdated clover type interchange was replaced by a modern five-level interchange without any traffic disruption on the key city highways.
Businovskaya transport interchange is located on the territory of two subjects of the Russian Federation. Apart from that, the area for design and engineering is distinguished by a high density of the already existing engineering systems and passes over the Oktyabrskaya Railway which, as a result, required to develop highly efficient technical solutions. The construction of Businovskaya transport interchange provided comfortable and secured transport connection between Khovrino, Golovinsky and Zapadnoye Degunino Districts, which used to be separated by the railway. It also offered an opportunity to create new suburban and interurban routes for passenger traffic.
